Grace Baptist is a family integrated church
A family integrated church is a church that strives to integrate the family in every
aspect of church life.  At Grace Baptist we do not train the children in one subject,
and the parents in another subject.  Our  desire is to have the parents and the
children learn the same subject, and edify one another.  Our youth program consists
of parents doing what God has call
THEM to do.
Is it effective to teach the parents and the children at the same time?
What is a family integrated church?
The answer to that question is clearly yes.  Jesus said "“Let the little children come
to Me, and do not forbid them;” (Mt 19:14)  Children learn best when parents are
involved in their learning.  At Grace Baptist the parents are encouraged to prepare the
children before a service by giving the children information and instruction as to
what will be taught on Sunday morning.  Both the parents and the child come into
the service with a contextual knowledge of what will be taught.  The worship
service reinforces what the parents have been equipped to teach their children with
the prior week.  God has given the responsibility of spiritually training children to
parents (Duet. 6:7-9).  Grace Baptist endeavors to train parents in the necessary
skills and knowledge and equip them to fulfill God's calling on their lives.
What programs does Grace Baptist offer?
The objective of Grace Baptist church is not to create many programs that cause the
people to be frustrated and tired with church.  It has been the experience of many
Christians to go to church and do nothing but work.  They find themselves like
Martha, "Busy about many things" and seldom get the opportunity to sit at the feet of
Jesus and listen as Mary did.

At Grace Baptist the focus is on the worship service, and learning the Word of God.
If there is a need in our midst, we address it; we rally around that person or family.
We pray for them, and if we can we meet their physical need we do.  We have made
the  decision at Grace to not have "Programs" but rather to look at each persons
need, and minister to that individual.  Our emphasis is fellowship, and relationships.
We believe this is how the early church followed the Lord, and that this is how we
should follow the Lord today.
About Us
Grace Baptist Church
Grace Baptist Church equips the parents in training their own children.  This
accomplishes two results. 1)
The parent becomes the person who finds solutions
for the child
.  Too many children today have the idea that to find real solutions for
one's life they have to ask a teacher at school, or a leader from church.  Parents are
by-passed in many of today's churches and society.  At Grace Baptist we believe that
God ordained the parents to be the ones that guide their children through child hood.
The church is to equip parents in parenting, not replace them.  When a child looks to
his parents for solutions, then there is a natural endearment to the parent that will last
a lifetime as the child matures.  2) The second result is
the parent becomes a part
of the child's spiritual growth
.  Many times, when churches separate the children
from the parents, the children will learn one subject while the parents learn another.
If the child has questions (of which they will) then the parent is not clear as to what
has been taught to the child, nor the context of what the child has been learning.  In
a family integrated church the parents and children learn together, share together,
and grow together.
How do children learn the Bible if there is no youth program?
What about singles or people with out children?  How does Grace Baptist
minister to singles or divorcees?
At Grace Baptist we recognize that not everyone has been called to be married (1 Cor.
7:7) and have children.  However, God does use marriage to illustrate Christ's
relationship to the church.  The church is often described as the family of God.  At
Grace Baptist church we do not treat singles differently than we do the married.  We
are all a part of the family of God.

Singles and divorcees are embraced at Grace Baptist and treated as every one else.
They are not treated as second class citizens and segregated from the rest of the body
of Christ.  Our attempt is to embrace them into the family of God and make them apart
of the church family.  Grace Baptist Church is a family integrated church and singles
are a part of that family.
